I recently stayed at the Welcome Plaza Hotel Pattaya, and while the location is fantastic, being close to the beach and walking street, my experience was pretty disappointing overall. The room I received had a nice size and decent bathroom, but there were a lot of issues like old furnishings, poorly functioning amenities, and a general lack of cleanliness. The staff were not very welcoming and the breakfast was frankly one of the worst I've had in Thailand. I wouldn't recommend staying here based on my experience.
